The Ben and Kizz Daniel Set to Collaborate Following Warm Encounter in Kigali

Rwandan music star The Ben has revealed that there are high chances of collaborating on a song with Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Kizz Daniel, following their recent interaction during the Giants of Africa festival grand finale held at BK Arena in Kigali.

The Ben shared the news during a press conference held in Kigali on August 7, 2025, organized to announce details of his upcoming concert scheduled later this month.

The artist, who has established a solid reputation across Africa, confirmed that Kizz Daniel reached out to him personally after the concert, expressing admiration for his music and a desire to work together on a major project.

When asked about the viral photo showing the two hugging after the event, The Ben explained that the moment captured genuine emotions, as Kizz Daniel had written to him shortly after the show, and they had even exchanged WhatsApp contacts.

He said:
“He messaged me the other day saying he really loves my music and wants us to work on something big together. We shared our contact information, and honestly, it’s exciting because it shows something great might be on the way.”

This was confirmed by journalist Lucky Nzeyimana, who moderated the press briefing and added that Kizz Daniel had sent a heartfelt message showing genuine appreciation for The Ben’s talent and interest in collaborating on a meaningful project.

Following his performance at BK Arena, Kizz Daniel publicly expressed how much he enjoyed the reception in Rwanda and hinted at a strong desire to return for another show in the near future.

Major international concerts like Giants of Africa have increasingly become a platform for artists to connect, interact, and launch cross-border collaborations. The recent bond between The Ben and Kizz Daniel could potentially result in a powerful musical partnership that excites fans across the continent.

Their budding relationship is also a testament to Rwanda’s growing role as a hub for arts and music on the African stage, offering local artists greater visibility and opportunities for international growth.
